Declare Brands - we believe in Giving Back

At Declare Brands we believe in giving back to the world we live in and to the communities that support us. Declare is proud to support charitable initiatives like the Kilimanjaro Children’s Foundation which is helping children in Tanzania to grow strong in mind, spirit and body through its support of a special school for orphans and others in need located at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Declare Brands also supports and encourages the charitable efforts of our staff and our franchises.

Kilimanjaro Children’s Foundation

Declare Brands is a proud supporter of the Kilimanjaro Children’s Foundation, which was established in 2007 to provide support to the Kilimanjaro English School. Located at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro which is Africa’s most prominent landmark, the school helps orphans and other children in need to develop the tools and support they need to begin their educational journey. Education opens up a world of opportunity for the children attending this special school in Tanzania. Declare Brands supported the school’s 150 plus students by sponsoring new school uniforms and other financial support. Declare Brands President Stuart Erskine also dropped off new school bags filled with school supplies for the students during a recent visit to the school. After seeing firsthand the good work being done by the school, Declare Brands encourages others to support this worthwhile cause. Experiences Canada

Experiences Canada is a National home stay exchange program for groups of 14-17 year olds. This program, funded by Heritage and Culture Canada has been operating since 1936. Declare Brands helped sponsor a group of Camrose, Alberta teens who participated in an exchange with a group from Saint-Tite-des-Caps, Quebec. Students from Camrose Composite High School went to Quebec for the first leg of the trip while their counterparts from Collège des Hauts Sommets paid a similar visit to Camrose. Both groups enjoyed a variety of educational, cultural and just plain fun activities in their host communities. Participants also got to experience life in another part of calendar during their stay with host families.
